Paula holds a BA degree in Sociology from the University of A Coru\u00f1a (UDC). She has specialized in international migration completing the Official Master\u2019s Degree in International Migration: intercultural mediation, research and public policies from the University of A Coru\u00f1a and she was a trainee researcher within the Research Staff Training programme of the University of Santiago de Compostela, in the Social Pedagogy and Environmental Education (SEPA) research group, coordinated by Jos\u00e9 Antonio Caride (USC) and with which she collaborates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She is currently on a contract as a management and research assistant in the ESOMI, financed by the Galician Government within the framework of Consolidation Aids for Competitive Reference Groups (GRC20014-048) and she is writing her doctoral thesis on \u2018The Distinguishing Use of Educational and Social Times Among Migrant Teenagers \u2013 Incidence of this Use on Family, School and Community Socialization Processes\u2019\u201d, co-directed by Jos\u00e9 Antonio Caride (USC) and Laura Oso Casas (UDC). Her research lines are focused on the use of educational and social times among migrant teenagers, educational strategies among migrant families, socialization processes in migrant minors and educational policies collaborating with several publications. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
