{"id":2745,"date":"2019-09-10T10:53:35","date_gmt":"2019-09-10T10:53:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webs.uab.cat\/incasi\/persones\/leslie-fonquerne-2\/"},"modified":"2022-12-20T13:13:36","modified_gmt":"2022-12-20T13:13:36","slug":"leslie-fonquerne-2","status":"publish","type":"persones","link":"https:\/\/webs.uab.cat\/incasi1\/en\/persones\/leslie-fonquerne-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Leslie Fonquerne"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am a PhD student in sociology at the SAGESSE gender research group at CERTOP-CNRS (Research centre on Work, Organizations and Policies \u2013 UMR 5044) at the University Toulouse Jean Jaur\u00e8s, since 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My thesis is co-supervised by St\u00e9phanie Mulot and Julie Jarty (University Toulouse Jean Jaur\u00e8s) and deals with economic, social, politic and gender issues of contraceptive pill and its use and prescription in the so-called French \u201cpill crisis\u201d context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I conduct a qualitative research to understand tensions between neoliberal discourses on women\u2019s economic and sexual autonomy, social standards in relation with modes of contraception, medical and contraceptive practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During 3 years, I received a doctoral grants from the LabEx SMS (laboratory of excellence, structuring of social worlds) (CDU), and I now teach sociology (methodology and gender sociology) to first year students at the University Toulouse Jean Jaur\u00e8s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am a member of different interdisciplinary groups: \u201cArp\u00e8ge-EFiGiES-Toulouse\u201d which organizes yearly workshops and conferences on gender issues, and the Contraception&amp;Gender Junior Lab\u2019 (Cit\u00e9 du Genre de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Sorbonne Paris Cit\u00e9 (HALL \u2013 USPC)), a group of young researchers facilitating the diffusion of their gender-based studies.
