I joined Air Europa airlines in 1988 and retired in 2023 with more than 20,000 flight hours experience having flown the McDonnell Douglas MD83, Boeing B737 series 200, 300, 400, 600 & 800, Boeing B757 and Airbus A330.
In Air Europa I was Ground, Simulator and Flight Instructor (TRI), Type Rating Examiner (TRE) and Technical Pilot been involved in some international projects (OPTIMI, AIRE, …) and ATN B1 CPDLC Flight Testing and Certification.
Member of the Eurocontrol Link 2000+ (CPDLC) and Cascade (ADS-B) Operational Focus Groups and EUROCAE WG78/RCTA SC-214.
Teacher at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and Eurocontrol Institute of Luxembourg (IANS) for 15 years.
Prior to joining Air Europa, I was an Aeronautical Specialized Technician in the Spanish Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP) and teacher in the Spanish Aeronautical National School (ENA).
I participated with the UAB in the E-PILOTS and now in the GEESE and ANTICIPATE projects.
