Advancing methods for the study of the land-coast-sea continuum for governance. Interfase researchers are developing new tools, concepts and approaches for the study of environmental changes and their governance integrating diverse perspectives on socio-ecological connectedness. Drawing from Complexity Theory, Ecological Economics, Political Ecology and Political Geography, the group develops procedures to generate indicators, explore the different dimensions of values and uncertainty, and analyse the main narratives and their effects on territorial sustainability.
