Note: we can also calculate the% C and% N with an accuracy of less than 1% for sample quantities greater than 150 micrograms of carbon.
– Finnigan ConFlo III interface – universal interface for the connection of an Elemental Analyzer to a Stable Isotopes Mass Spectrometer. The interface uses a gas dilution system to compensate the different abundances of Carbon, Nitrogen, Oxygen and Hydrogen in an organic sample. This facilitates the simultaneous measure of Carbon and Nitrogen, or Oxygen and Hydrogen in the same sample without losing precision. The open-split system allows a double injection of reference or sample gas.
