The seminar, co-organised with the Jean Monnet Chair EUGOV, took place in the Sala de Juntes of the Law Faculty, where students and faculty gathered to explore the challenges and opportunities at the intersection of economics, security, and geopolitics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an increasingly interconnected world,&nbsp;<strong>geoeconomic security<\/strong>&nbsp;has emerged as a critical focus, addressing how economic policies and instruments\u2014like trade sanctions, investment restrictions, and digital infrastructure controls\u2014can influence global security. With rising tensions between global powers, geoeconomic security strategies are essential for maintaining stability and protecting national interests in Europe and beyond.
