Ana Margarida Dias da Silva holds a PhD in Information Science from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra (2022), a Master’s in Information and Documentation Sciences with a specialization in Archives from the NOVA University of Lisbon (2014), a Master’s in Contemporary History from the University of Coimbra (2014), and a postgraduate specialization in Documentary Sciences, Archives branch, from the same university (2006), as well as a Bachelor’s degree in History, specializing in Art History (2003).
Since 2004, she has worked as an archivist in various public and private archives in Coimbra (Portugal). She currently works at the Archive of the Department of Life Sciences at the University of Coimbra. She is a member of the Regional Delegation of the Portuguese Association of Librarians, Archivists, and Documentation and Information Professionals. She is also a research fellow at the Centre for the History of Society and Culture at the University of Coimbra.
