Assistant Archivist for Records Management, American University in Cairo, Egypt

Elizabeth H. Day is the Assistant Archivist for Records Management at the American University in Cairo. She is responsible for managing both physical and digital information at the university and supports the university records collection at the Rare Books and Special Collections Library. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Religious Studies, and earned her Master’s in Archival Studies from the University of British Columbia, with a focus on records management, public archives, and archival ethics. Her previous work focused on open access and privacy rights in public records.
