Lluís Domènech i Montaner (1850-1923)
The Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau is the most significant civil building of Catalan Modernism and the architect’s most ambitious work. Lluís Domènech i Montaner is also known for other masterpieces, such as the Palau de la Música Catalana, Casa Lleó i Morera, Fonda España, Casa Fuster, Casa Navàs, and Casa Thomas, among many others.

Pere Domènech i Roura (1881-1962)
His son, Pere, is the author of the facade of the Montjuïc Olympic Stadium, the Casa de la Prensa for the 1929 International Exposition, and the Agricultural Cooperatives of l’Espluga de Francolí and Sarral.
