Visiting professor at the Unit of Economic History of the Department of Economics and Economic History of the UAB. He is an economist and a doctor in economic history from the University of Barcelona and the Carlos III University of Madrid. He is a researcher at the University of Barcelona. In the past it has been closely linked to local public administration, the Third Sector and the agroecological movement.

His research focuses on the economics of climate change, the multi-EROI analysis of agroecosystems, the economic value of altruism in the long term, cooperativism and the economics of the common good.
