Dr. Juan Campos has worked in optical image system quality, optical pattern recognition, diffractive optics, and metrology. His contributions to the field include: the design of non-uniform pupils in optical systems to modify different parameters of the image quality; the application of apodizers in photolithography; modeling, characterization and use of liquid crystal spatial light modulators; introduction of color information in optical pattern recognition; numerical methods to obtain the surface profile from deflectometry data; numerical methods to handle redundant information in interferometric measures to obtaine higher accuracy; use of liquid crystals to build Stokes and Mueller polarimeters.He has published more than 270 papers in scientific journals, 3 book chapters and presented more than 250 communications to National and International conferences, 13 of them invited papers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Juan Campos has been the supervisor or co-supervisor of 18 Ph.D. Thesis, and supervisor of 19 Master Thesis. He is Fellow member of the OSA, SPIE, and EOS<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
