Members of GREIP and PhD students gathered for discussion on the topic of decoloniality after having read several texts by seminal authors in the field (e.g. Mignolo, Walsh, Canagarajah). The discussion was led by Dr. Denise Holguin. Questions and reflection on how to understand the complexity of colonialism-decolonialism dichotomies and perhaps more application from non-Eurocentric perspectives in pedagogical spaces emerged from lively debate. All participants agreed that the readings and discussion gave much food for thought.
