The article defines the network of contacts that the freedman built up around him, which serves to document the profound social and economic transformations experienced by the Roman Empire during the decisive second century AD through the study of a particular case such as that of Roman Layetania. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Article written by Oriol Olesti and Joan Oller.
