La seva principal l\u00ednia de recerca \u00e9s la hist\u00f2ria cultural, de manera particular, la hist\u00f2ria de la cultura escrita (alfabetitzaci\u00f3, biblioteques i correspond\u00e8ncia). Ha impartit diversos cursos i ha dirigit diverses recerques sobre cinema i novel\u00b7la hist\u00f2rics. \u00c9s autor, al costat de Luis Laborda, de l\u2019article \u201cLa Inglaterra de los primeros Estuardo, la Guerra Civil y la Rep\u00fablica en el cine (1603-1660)\u201d (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tiemposmodernos.org\/tm3\/index.php\/tm\" target=\"_blank\">Tiempos modernos. Doctor en Hist\u00f2ria de les Arts Visuals i de l\u2019Espectacle per la Universit\u00e0 di Pisa amb una tesi sobre el cinema espanyol en els anys del franquisme, ha publicat quatre llibres i diversos assajos, la majoria d\u2019ells sobre cinema itali\u00e0, espanyol i franc\u00e8s. Ha col\u00b7laborat i col\u00b7labora en diverses publicacions italianes (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.segnocinema.it\/\" target=\"_blank\">Segnocinema<\/a>, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ilmanifesto.it\/\" target=\"_blank\">Il manifesto<\/a>, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lafuriaumana.it\/\" target=\"_blank\">La Furia Umana<\/a>, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cineforum.it\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cineforum<\/a>, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.filmcritica.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">Filmcritica<\/a>) i espanyoles (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dirigidopor.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dirigido\u00a0por&#8230;<\/a>). Ha publicat, entre altres, <em>Crist i la hist\u00f2ria<\/em>. <em>Els inicis de la historiografia eclesi\u00e0stica catalana en el seu context europeu <\/em>(2015); <em>Les\u00a0bruixes. En 1997 va rebre la beca PIF de la Generalitat, des de 2000 \u00e9s professor d\u2019hist\u00f2ria i teoria cinematogr\u00e0fica a la <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.uab.cat\/\" target=\"_blank\">Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona<\/a> i des de 2015 docent del M\u00e0ster de Documental Creatiu en la mateixa universitat. Actualment \u00e9s professor de filosofia, impartint doc\u00e8ncia en el grau d\u2019Humanitats i de Filosofia d\u2019aquesta universitat. S\u2019ha especialitzat en filosofia de la cultura i filosofia francesa contempor\u00e0nia, impartint seminaris sobre Schmitt-Kelsen, Bataille, Klossowki, Cioran o Nietzsche. Imparteix Hist\u00f2ria de l\u2019Art i Hist\u00f2ria del Cinema al Grau d\u2019Humanitats de la <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.uab.cat\/\" target=\"_blank\">Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona<\/a> i ha estat convidada per la <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sfedu.ru\/\" target=\"_blank\">Universitat Estatal del Sud de Rostov del Don<\/a> (R\u00fassia) a participar en el m\u00e0ster <em>Literature in cross-cultural perspective<\/em>. La seva l\u00ednia de recerca s\u2019ha enfocat, des d\u2019una perspectiva pluridisciplin\u00e0ria, cap als estudis de cultura visual. Entre els seus projectes m\u00e9s recents en aquest camp est\u00e0 la publicaci\u00f3 del llibre, en col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 amb V. Carando i L. Longhi <em>De Escipi\u00f3n a Berlusconi. Una hist\u00f2ria de Italia en 50 pel\u00edculas<\/em> (2019) i l\u2019organitzaci\u00f3 del curs, amb L. Va obtenir la seva c\u00e0tedra en la Universitat Estatal de Moscou, ha publicat un llibre sobre literatura contempor\u00e0nia (distingit en 2012) i ha participat en diverses monografies en angl\u00e8s editades per Verlag i Ashgate. Va ser professora convidada en la <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ox.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Universitat d\u2019Oxford<\/a> (2014) i va obtenir una beca per a un projecte de recerca sobre cultura contempor\u00e0nia en Dortmund (2016).
