PHYNEST<\/strong> is a Horizon Europe MSCA COFUND doctoral programme <\/strong>coordinated by the Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona. It is designed to nurture the next generation of scientific leaders in physics and materials science<\/strong>, who are committed to finding sustainable energy solutions for a greener future<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recruit and train 25 PhD researchers in advanced materials, energy technologies, and climate solutions<\/strong> under five major thematic areas:
\u00b7 Materials and measures empowering energy efficiency
\u00b7 Theory and modelling of energy-efficient devices
\u00b7 Historical and societal evolution of energy and sustainability
\u00b7 Advanced sensing and actuation for sustainability improvement
\u00b7 Climate change carbon monitoring<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Provide comprehensive training <\/strong>in scientific and transferable skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Promote interdisciplinary<\/strong>, intersectoral, and international collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Foster gender equality<\/strong> and inclusion in STEM disciplines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fulfil all the principles of Open Science<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
