She holds a PhD in Sociology and has been working at the Trade Union Institute for Work, Environment and Health (ISTAS-F1M) of CCOO since 2001, and as a part-time adjunct professor in the Sociology Department at the UAB since 1999. She practices knowledge activism by working in both the technical-scientific and the social-trade union arenas, with the strategic aim of producing and promoting the tactical use of experience-based knowledge in addition to scientific and legal expertise. Her main areas of work are: the relationship between psychosocial risk factors and labour management practices to achieve prevention at the source; the improvement and follow-up of the Spanish version of the COPSOQ methodology for the assessment of psychosocial risks, being a member of its international steering committee; and the development of a participatory intervention process for the prevention of psychosocial risks in the workplace.
