Last Friday, the Mitochondrial Neuropathology research team took a well-deserved break from the lab and headed to Sabadell for our traditional calçotada—and what a fantastic day it was!
After two weeks of non-stop rain, the sun finally made an appearance, just in time for us to enjoy the outdoors. The weather couldn’t have been better, and neither could the food. Albert, Marcos, and Vera truly outdid themselves as the kings of the barbecue. They grilled up delicious calçots, along with a great mix of vegetables and meat that kept everyone happily full.
It was a perfect opportunity to relax, share good food, and enjoy each other’s company away from the pipettes and tubes.
