{"id":23,"date":"2023-03-23T13:38:52","date_gmt":"2023-03-23T11:38:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webs.uab.cat\/redsea11\/?page_id=23"},"modified":"2024-05-28T16:20:06","modified_gmt":"2024-05-28T14:20:06","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/webs.uab.cat\/redsea11\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-verd-tropic-background-color has-background has-large-font-size\"><strong>About the RED SEA CONFERENCE XI<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">The XIth Red Sea Conference will be held between the 5th and the 7th of June of 2024 in Barcelona, being hosted by the&nbsp;<em>Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona<\/em>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<em>Centro Superior de Investigaciones Cient\u00edficas&nbsp;<\/em>(https:\/\/webs.uab.cat\/redsea11\/). Both institutions will be represented by consolidated research projects that have as their main goal the study of the Red Sea in different cultural, chronological, and geographic frames.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">This event follows the lead of the previous Red Sea Project conferences, that since 2002 have become the main international forum for the study of the Red Sea as a geographical and historical unit from a broad chronological perspective. Different institutions have hosted the conference since then: the British Museum, the University of Southampton, the University of Exeter, the University of Tabuk, the&nbsp;<em>Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Napoli l&#8217;Orientale<\/em>, the University of Warsaw, the&nbsp;<em>Maison de l\u2019Orient et de la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e<\/em>, and the University of Crete.
