Esta es, sin duda, la entrada m\u00e1s extra\u00f1a que he publicado, pero a la espera de que mis alumnos transformen esta lista en una lista de Spotify (como me prometieron), aqu\u00ed est\u00e1 mi selecci\u00f3n de canciones del siglo XX (en ingl\u00e9s) cantadas por mujeres. Actualmente estoy impartiendo un curso de Estudios Culturales sobre las mujeres en el pop, y en lugar de dar clases a mis alumnos sobre nombres y t\u00edtulos correspondientes a noventa a\u00f1os de m\u00fasica femenina, he confeccionado esta lista y les invit\u00e9 a pasar parte de tres sesiones degustando la mercanc\u00eda. As\u00ed consegu\u00ed, adem\u00e1s, encontrar un uso interesante para los m\u00f3viles en clase.<\/p>\n

Por favor, no pienses, querid@ lector@, que la lista est\u00e1 disponible en otros sitios, o que fue compilada f\u00e1cilmente. Revis\u00e9 un mont\u00f3n de sitios web que dec\u00edan ofrecer lo mejor de d\u00e9cadas espec\u00edficas y llegu\u00e9 a una selecci\u00f3n que, aunque seguramente muy imperfecta, espero que sirva de introducci\u00f3n. Como se puede apreciar, he colocado a las cantantes en orden por fecha de nacimiento. Aparecen en la d\u00e9cada en la que tuvieron su primer \u00e9xito, con algunas excepciones (por ejemplo, Tina Turner, aunque fue famosa en los 60, aparece aqu\u00ed en los 80, cuando realiz\u00f3 su glorioso regreso de la nada). La lista termina en 1999 porque mis alumnos est\u00e1n trabajando en un libro digital colectivo sobre las canciones del siglo XXI (en ingl\u00e9s) cantadas por mujeres, que se publicar\u00e1 el pr\u00f3ximo enero. Por \u00faltimo, todas las canciones se pueden encontrar en YouTube, lo que tiene la ventaja de que se puede ver a las mujeres en cuesti\u00f3n para aprender (o recordar) mejor lo maravillosas artistas que todas ellas son.<\/p>\n
