Socio-labour Challenges of Mediterranean Fisheries<\/em><\/strong>.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project brings together an interdisciplinary team to explore how the transition towards a sustainable Blue Economy is reshaping the future of Mediterranean fisheries. Particular attention will be given to the socio-economic and labour challenges faced by fishing communities, including generational renewal, changing working conditions, governance, and the adaptation of coastal livelihoods to environmental and policy transformations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the meeting, held in Reus on 18 September 2026, project partners discussed the main research objectives, methodological approaches, work plan, and opportunities for collaboration.
