Do you want to visit the largest research center dedicated to the research and development of micro and nanotechnologies in Spain? The Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona (IMB-CNM-CSIC) is located on the UAB Campus and has a White Room of 1,500 square meters (one of the largest in southern Europe)!
The main activities of the IMB-CNM are basic and applied research and development, education and training in micro and nanotechnologies, components and systems. Its mission is to improve knowledge and contribute to the implementation of solutions based on these technologies in new products, to solve society’s challenges. Visit the center to take a journey through the history of microelectronics and learn how the development of chips works to travel into space and get into cells!
