Women’s science and entrepreneurship: Let’s overcome the impostor syndrome

Second edition of this event which aims to give visibility to the female leaders in innovation and entrepreneurship on the UAB campus, identify their needs and create a network.

On this occasion, the event will revolve around the internal and external limitations faced by female researchers and will explore personal experiences, challenges and strategies to overcome impostor syndrome and break through the glass ceiling. Prominent experts and professionals will participate, who will share their knowledge, research and practical experiences.

  • Laia Arnal, director of the Society of Knowledge, Transfer and Territory of the Department of Research and Universities of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
  • Esther Zapater, general secretary of the UAB.
  • Alicia Bosch Palma, vice president of the UAB Social Council.

10am Round table: «et’s break the glass ceiling»

  • Núria Salán, president of the Catalan Society of Technology.
  • Mariona Serra, co-founder of GoodGut and former president of the UAB Social Council Universitat Empresa committee.
  • Ana Caño Delgado, CRAG researcher and founder of PLANeT Biotech.
  • Maria Teresa Sordé Martí, professor of sociology at the UAB, IP of the H2020 REFUGE-ED and affiliated to the GEDIME – CER- Migracions group at the UAB.
  • Moderator: Teresa Tarragó, co-founder and executive director of the biotechnology company BeyondYou.
