During my initial foray into higher education, I immersed myself in the pursuit of understanding the human mind, taking a BSc in Neuropsychology. My appreciation for education has been further shaped by my time in the classroom, assisting refugees with English at university and spending two years promoting international development at high schools in Rural Japan. As both an advocate and practitioner of interdisciplinarity, I later took an MA in European Studies and an MSc in Environmental Science. Currently, my academic interests lie at the intersection of human well-being, social justice and conservation, with a particular focus on the human-nature connection.
At the UAB, I will evaluate the cost-effectiveness and therapeutic benefits of nature-based therapies under Prof. Juan Vicente Luciano Devis (AGORA), Prof. Helen Cole (ICTA) and Prof. Margarita Triguero-Mas (ICTA).
