I hold a BSc in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience and Clinical Neuropsychology, and a Master’s degree in Neurorehabilitation. My interests lie in applied clinical research in adult neuropsychology and rehabilitation, with a strong focus on person-centred approaches.
This PhD project examines cognitive and emotional recovery after critical illness, focusing on individual differences in recovery. It studies cognitive reserve as a protective factor, and explores how inflammatory response patterns and genetic vulnerability influence outcomes. The aim is to identify profiles of vulnerability and resilience, to support more personalised neuropsychological follow-up and recovery.
