I have an academic background in Psychology, Neuropsychology, and Social Work. My research approach integrates a biopsychosocial and systemic–ecological model to promote mental health and person-centred care across the lifespan. My recent studies and professional experience as a social worker have deepened my understanding of systemic barriers, social determinants of health, and the influence of policy and legislation on mental well-being. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to holistic, multidisciplinary, and co-produced approaches that empower individuals and communities.

Within the TOUCH programme, my research project explores the experiences, needs, and barriers faced by older adults and their caregivers following hospital discharge after an episode of delirium. Using a co-design approach, it aims to develop and evaluate the impact on health outcomes of person-centred community interventions.
