My master\u2019s thesis investigated the role of social support in enhancing fear extinction and preventing the return of fear, using both subjective measures and physiological measures. During my two years at Utrecht, I also worked as a Research Assistant in Social Psychology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I then decided to pursue a second master\u2019s degree in Clinical Neuropsychology and Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Padua. This year, I completed a 500-hour internship at San Camillo Hospital, where I gained experience in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation, as well as in cognitive neuroscience research. I mainly worked with patients affected by neurological conditions. During my time at the hospital, I also conducted my master\u2019s thesis, focused on enhancing recovery and neuroplasticity in stroke survivors. I am currently pursuing a PhD focused on enriching stroke rehabilitation through Music and Leisure Activities. The project involves recruiting stroke survivors, collecting data on independence, cognitive and emotional outcomes, and MRI measures to be used as predictors. Additionally, it extends its scope to include essential considerations for real-world implementation in clinical settings, addressing patients\u2019 experiences, intervention feasibility, and cost-effectiveness. The interdisciplinary collaboration with experts in neuroscience, occupational therapy, neurology, and economics will allow me to further develop my clinical and research skills with neurological populations, as well as gain experience in analyzing MRI data and conducting qualitative research.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am a psychologist from the University of Padua, with experience in Clinical Neuropsychology and Cognitive Neuroscience.
