Citizenship as Restitution (CITREST<\/a>) (2024-2028) Ongoing<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, the European Union, and the Spanish State Research Agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project investigates the cases of Austria and Spain, significantly advancing existing empirical knowledge about, and theoretical understanding of, a very timely issue of high social and political relevance: The use that more and more EU member states are recently making of citizenship as a form of restitution.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Migrademo Project<\/a> (2019-2024) Recently completed<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Principal Investigator: Eva \u00d8stergaard-Nielsen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MIGRADEMO is a European Research Council (ERC) funded project which examines the impact of migration on democratic participation and processes in countries of origin. It is hosted by the Department of Political Science at the Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MIGRADEMO research shifts the attention from the focus on what happens when migrants arrive in countries of settlement to the impact on countries of origin. Comparing the content, scope and processes of democratic diffusion will contribute to our knowledge of the conditions under which migration can influence democratic practices. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

SOCIALEU is funded by the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme of the European Union under Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie Actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SOCIALEU project investigates the role of a redistributive EU social policy in fostering citizen support for the Union. In particular, the project analyses the agenda-setting on social rights at the supranational level and subsequently inquires whether the provision of social benefits by EU institutions increases support for European integration and has the potential to turn populist party voters towards mainstream political parties.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Original name: Pol\u00edtiques de Cooperaci\u00f3 per a la Pau: An\u00e0lisi Comparada de les Pol\u00edtiques P\u00fabliques Catalanes i Valencianes<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This research aims to understand how public policy has responded to this degradation of security by analysing what we call peace cooperation. The methodology used is comparative policy. Thus analysing, two municipal policy contexts (Barcelona and Valencia) and two regional contexts (Catalonia and Valencia) are studied.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
