{"id":1053,"date":"2024-01-10T21:39:17","date_gmt":"2024-01-10T19:39:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webs.uab.cat\/transmedia\/?page_id=1053"},"modified":"2024-01-29T15:28:25","modified_gmt":"2024-01-29T13:28:25","slug":"education-day-2024","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/webs.uab.cat\/transmedia\/education-day-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Education Day 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>TransMedia Catalonia is part of the Learning Planet Festival!&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/webs.uab.cat\/transmedia\/\">TransMedia Catalonia<\/a> is honoured to announce its selection to be a part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.learning-planet.org\/learningplanet-festival\/\">Learning Planet Festival<\/a>, funded by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unesco.org\/es\"> UNESCO<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.learningplanetinstitute.org\/en\/\">Learning Planet Institute<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inside the festival, TransMedia Catalonia will host an online webinar titled <strong>&#8220;Smart and Accessible Tools for Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)&#8221; <\/strong>during the celebration of <strong>Education Day<\/strong> on <strong>January 24, 2024, from 13:00 to 14:30<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What to Expect:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Exploration of ESD: <\/strong>the webinar will delve into the concept of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and its implementations in diverse educational contexts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Innovative tools:<\/strong> participants will have the opportunity to explore tools developed as part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.green-scent.eu\/\">GreenSCENT project<\/a>, including an augmented reality app for a comprehensive understanding of air quality and tube sensors for practical implementation both in schools and homes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Youth engagement:<\/strong> the Agorize challenge will be presented as a means of fostering student agency, encouraging concrete steps towards sustainable education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Accessibility in climate change education: <\/strong>The<strong> <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dgt.uns.ac.rs\/en\/clear-climate-eng\/\">ClearClimate project<\/a> will be introduced, emphasizing its main goal of increasing accessibility in climate change education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Presentations<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/zenodo.org\/records\/10580226\">What is Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)?  <\/a>Loukas Katikas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/zenodo.org\/records\/10580267\">The BSC Augmented Reality App<\/a><strong>.<\/strong> Diana Urquiza.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/zenodo.org\/records\/10580344\">Open innovation challenges.
