Josep Parr\u00f3n Granados<\/strong> was born in Sabadell, Spain, in 1970. He received the M.S. degree in Telecommunication Engineering and the Ph. D. degree (Cum Laude) from the Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya (UPC), Spain, in 1994 and 2001, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 2000 to 2002 he belonged to the Electromagnetic and Photonic Engineering group of the Signal Theory an Communication Department at UPC as an Assistant Professor. In 2002, he became Associate Professor in the Telecommunication and Systems Engineering Department at Universitat Aut\u00f2noma of Barcelona (UAB), Spain. From 2024, he is Full Professor at UAB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His main research interests include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Efficient integral methods for the computation of electromagnetic scattering and antenna radiation (MoM, IE-MEI, MLMDA, MLFMM…).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Analysis and design: small antennas, multiband antennas, circularly polarized antennas, RFID tags…<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Phased arrays and directional modulation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
