These workshops were developed using materials from the <strong>MEMO<\/strong> <strong>Witness Archive<\/strong>, documents from the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/anc.gencat.cat\/ca\/inici\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Arxiu Nacional de Catalunya<\/a><\/strong>, and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/crai.ub.edu\/ca\/coneix-el-crai\/biblioteques\/biblioteca-pavello-republica\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Arxiu del Pavell\u00f3 de la Rep\u00fablica de la Universitat de Barcelona<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In close collaboration with the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/educacio.gencat.cat\/ca\/inici\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Departament d&#8217;Educaci\u00f3 de la Generalitat de Catalunya<\/a><\/strong>, MEMO coordinated a working group of secondary school teachers interested in democratic memory, known as <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/memoria.gencat.cat\/ca\/educacio\/grups-demd\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DEMD groups<\/a><\/strong>. These groups explored various themes related to democratic memory and represented a broad territorial range across Catalonia, including <strong>Lleida, Alt Empord\u00e0, Tarragona, Barcelona\/Vall\u00e8s, and Ebre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop participants prepared a <strong>glossary of terms<\/strong> and co-created content on <strong>women&#8217;s resistance<\/strong> using materials from the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/memoria.gencat.cat\/ca\/que-fem\/banc-memoria-democratica\/fons\/bat\/index.html\">Banc Audiovisual de Testimonis (BAT)<\/a><\/strong> of the Democratic Memorial. They also selected content for the <strong>stage design<\/strong> of an upcoming theatre play, including scripts, audio resources, and flyers. All these materials will be included in the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/webs.uab.cat\/wire\/online-exhibition\/\">permanent online exhibition<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the Document<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of this guide is to share with the educational community the biographies of some of the women who participated in various Resistance movements across Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The document offers teachers <strong>three complementary sections<\/strong> to approach the subject, depending on the time they have available:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>SECTION I:<\/strong> Comparative analysis through two documentaries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>SECTION II:<\/strong> Reading biographies and performing a critical analysis of Resistance from a female perspective.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>SECTION III:<\/strong> Researching and writing a biography.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additionally, teachers will find:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An <strong>introduction and context on Resistance<\/strong> with the <strong>KPSI Grid (Knowledge and Prior Study Inventory)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>glossary of terms<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>12 biographies and life stories of Spanish resistant women<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Pedagogical Dossier is a comprehensive resource resulting from a series of workshops for secondary school students (aged 12 to 18), organized by the Memorial Democr\u00e0tic (MEMO).
