Through the joint venture of Wrench – Whispers of Time as Narrative of Climate Change, and OCC! – Occupy Climate Change!, the summer school “Reshaping Memory and Nature. Commons in the Face of Climate Change” has taken place in the Comunidade de Montes Veciñais en Man Común de Tameiga, municipality of Mos.
The school has hosted 20 scholars and activist coming from different places and university, with an high degree of participation and commitment.
Activities were deployed with commoners, to delve into memories and into their understanding of commons and commoning processes; With children, participating in the summer camp inside the territory of the community; with school attendants, who gave their perspective on the community and its projects.
The overall objective of the school, which was to produce material needed for the creation of a People’s plan for Galician montes, has been fulfilled with a strong participation from both community and participants of the school.
