The Living Heritage Platform<\/strong> is a space for sharing and discussion among heritage communities. At WRENCH<\/strong>, we frame heritage communities as groups that experience heritage in a variety of forms, both tangible and intangible. As we see it, heritage is not a datum but the output of cultural, material, and historical processes. A heritage community is upheld by the relationships that embody heritage, built by its members during the processes of heritage-making, unmaking, and becoming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Platform offers two instruments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The Living Heritage Map<\/strong>, where individuals, communities, professionals, and activists can input data about specific sites or heritage communities, with the objective of creating a visual map of Living Heritage Sites.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. The Living Heritage Hub<\/strong>, where anyone who cares for heritage\u2014whether for work, passion, or legacy\u2014can discuss, debate, and raise questions collectively.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Instruction to use the Living Heritage Map<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    If you want to add an Heritage Site to the map, open the link and click “Edit”<\/strong> in the top right corner.
    Then search for your Heritage Site site in the search bar in the top left corner (you can either search for an address, name or use coordinates).
    Once you have found your site, click the “Draw a Marker”<\/strong> symbol (Ctrl+M) in the top right corner and place it in the correct location.
    A pop-up window will appear where you need to enter the name and description of your site.
    Always remember to save your changes in the top right corner of the page.<\/strong>

    1. Copy the link to the image (URL).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Place the link inside double curly brackets {{}}<\/code>, like this: {{https:\/\/example.com}}<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Save your changes in the top right<\/strong> corner of the page.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      To suscribe to the Living Heritage Hub on Zulip open the following link<\/a> and follow the instruction inside of every discussion topic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      JPI – Heritage Research Hub<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      The Heritage Research Hub<\/a> is a platform on and for the cultural heritage research community. It has been created and is managed by the Joint Programming Initiative on Cultural Heritage (JPI CH<\/a>)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      It aims:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      To collect and display online resources<\/a> on and for heritage research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      To provide information about the JPI CH and its activities<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      To create an online location where everyone who works in or with cultural heritage-related research can share and search for different contents, including news<\/a>, events<\/a>, funding<\/a> and training opportunities or open vacancies.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      To inform about the cultural heritage research general framework by introducing the heritage research policies<\/a>, the various stakeholders involved<\/a> or research projects<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
