Cambio Clim\u00e1tico<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/webs.uab.cat\/wrench\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/615\/2026\/07\/CORTE-E.-Cambio-Climatico.m4a\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Proceso de escucha que Natalia Correa \u2014 investigadora del Colectivo WREMAR Buenos Aires y trabajadora del Centro de Salud N\u00ba9 de La Boca \u2014 sostuvo con mujeres del barrio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Process of listening carried out by Natalia Correa \u2014 researcher with the WREMAR Buenos Aires Collective and worker at the La Boca Health Center No. 9 \u2014 together with women from the neighborhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El estudio se propuso mirar de cerca las tareas productivas y reproductivas que sostienen la vida en el barrio, recuperar las memorias que las mujeres guardan sobre el r\u00edo, comprender c\u00f3mo perciben la contaminaci\u00f3n y el cambio clim\u00e1tico, y escuchar sus expectativas sobre el futuro. Para ello se realizaron entrevistas semi estructuradas, adaptadas a las posibilidades de cada participante, y se acompa\u00f1aron espacios comunitarios desde un enfoque de observaci\u00f3n participante. Las entrevistas tuvieron lugar entre febrero y abril de 2026 y reunieron a 12 mujeres de entre 15 y 77 a\u00f1os. Sus ocupaciones reflejan la diversidad del tejido social de La Boca: docentes, promotoras de salud, estudiantes, jubiladas, administrativas, m\u00e9dicas, funcionarias provinciales, trabajadoras sociales y operadoras comunitarias. El an\u00e1lisis se organiz\u00f3 en torno a cuatro grandes ejes: las memorias del Riachuelo y la experiencia de la contaminaci\u00f3n; las percepciones del cambio clim\u00e1tico; las relaciones entre capital, poder y futuro; y la situaci\u00f3n de las mujeres en el trabajo y la reproducci\u00f3n. Este \u00faltimo emergi\u00f3 con fuerza, incluso cuando no era preguntado directamente, como si la conversaci\u00f3n sobre el futuro inevitablemente condujera a la carga cotidiana que ellas sostienen. Tambi\u00e9n aparecieron temas que ninguna pregunta anticipaba, pero que todas mencionaron: la fragilidad habitacional del barrio, marcada por palabras como desalojo, incendio y gentrificaci\u00f3n; la presencia del turismo como fen\u00f3meno invasivo y extractivista; y la persistencia de una identidad barrial que se defiende, se reinventa y resiste. Este n\u00facleo presenta una parte de esos resultados, y lo hace desde la convicci\u00f3n de que las voces de las mujeres no solo narran el pasado y el presente del Riachuelo, sino que tambi\u00e9n abren un horizonte posible para su futuro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The study set out to closely examine the productive and reproductive tasks that sustain everyday life in the neighborhood, to recover the memories that women hold about the river, to understand how they perceive pollution and climate change, and to listen to their expectations for the future. To do so, semi\u2011structured interviews were conducted, adapted to each participant\u2019s circumstances, and community spaces were accompanied through a participant\u2011observation approach. The interviews took place between February and April 2026 and brought together 12 women between the ages of 15 and 77. Their occupations reflect the diversity of La Boca\u2019s social fabric: teachers, health promoters, students, retirees, administrative workers, physicians, provincial officials, social workers, and community operators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The analysis was organized around four main axes: memories of the Riachuelo and experiences of pollution; perceptions of climate change; the relationships between capital, power, and future; and the situation of women in work and reproduction. This last axis emerged strongly, even when not directly asked about, as if any conversation about the future inevitably led back to the daily burden they carry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other themes appeared that no question had anticipated, yet all participants mentioned: the neighborhood\u2019s housing fragility, marked by words such as eviction, fire, and gentrification; the presence of tourism as an invasive and extractivist phenomenon; and the persistence of a neighborhood identity that defends itself, reinvents itself, and resists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This section presents part of those findings, grounded in the conviction that women\u2019s voices not only narrate the past and present of the Riachuelo, but also open a possible horizon for its future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CORTE A.
