On May 27th, Jason Moore participated in a workshop focused on discussing key texts that inspired his theory of world-ecology and Capitalism in the Web of Life<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We examined Chapter 7<\/em> of Karl Marx’s “Capital”<\/em>, Marx and Engels’ “The German Ideology<\/em>“, Lewontin and Levins’ “Organism and Environment<\/em>, and Engels’ “The Part Played by Labour in the Transition from Ape to Man”<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These texts are inspiring our theoretical framework, as we explore heritage in terms of the evolution of labor-power embodied in the environment throughout history.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
