Who we are
The Agency Accessible Flanders is a Flemish organization with an substantive and technical expertise on accessibility and Universal Design. We aim a high-performance range of services to answer the increasing demand for specialized guidance and counseling regarding accessibility at different levels: national, European and international.
As a structural partner for implementing accessibility in every Flemish policy domain we:
· Contribute to a coherent Flemish accessibility policy by inspiring, supporting, collaborate, measure, examine, sensitize and info lakes.
· Provide technical support and take a coordinating role regarding the accessibility midfield.
· Focus to a wide audience of users and citizen, professionals, policy makers and volunteers… to inform and support them in an appropriate manner.
In addition to research, expertise and technical support, includes an important part of our operation the support and advice of events such as sports, commercial activities, festivals & concerts, theater and other cultural activities… to be accessibility for everyone. In any way, we Interact between people and environment!
Our role in the project
Inter is responsable fort he intelectual outcom 8 (Accessibility label proposal) and we cooperate with Generalitat de Catalunya – Departament de Cultura for developping intelectual outcom 7 (policy strategies).
