Gabriele Budach, (G.Budach@soton.ac.uk), is Lecturer of French Linguistics in the School of Modern Languages at the University of Southampton. Her main research interests include literacy in multilingual societies, discourses and practices in bilingual/multilingual education, teaching and learning in multilingual trans-national contexts, language and processes of identity, language and youth culture and language ideological debates as well as language standardisation.
