Hanna Klimava

Hanna Klimava (Hanna.Klimava@uab.cat) has a BA in Modern Languages from Minsk State Linguistic University and an MA in Advanced English Studies at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Currently she is a PhD Candidate at the Department of English and German Philology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and a member of the CIEN research team since 2016. She is a researcher in the Neophon II project Las mudas lingüìsticas: una aproximación etnográfica a los nuevos hablantes en Europa – FFI2015-67232-C3-1-P led by Joan Pujolar at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. She holds a grant FI-DGR 2017 and is currently investigating into the role of English in hiring contexts.
