PhD in Demography (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) – Principal Investigator of CORESIDENCE, Director of the Center for Demographic Studies-CED and Professor at the Department of Sociology-UAB.

As PI of CORESIDENCE, he is responsible for the overall scientific coordination and implementation of the project. He focuses on the development of the project’s database and investigates aspects related to the structure of households and family change around the world.

Jesús García Gómez

In CORESIDENCE, he studies subnational variations in household size and composition from a global perspective. His research focuses on fertility of first and second generation immigrants in Spain.

His work in CORESIDENCE focuses on the development of the project’s database and indicators of analysis. He is also contributing on the analysis of family change and household structures. His ongoing research explores time use in the different stages of the life cycle.
