Laura Styles holds an MA in ELT and a BA (Hons) in French and Spanish with Linguistics from the University of Southampton and is currently a PhD candidate at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). Her areas of interest are language acquisition and teaching, language assessment, and technologies for language learning. She currently teaches in the Departament de Folologia Anglesa I de Germanística at the UAB at both graduate and undergraduate level. She teaches on the UOC’s Technology-mediated language teaching and learning masters course and also collaborates on research and authoring projects.
