Workshop: Adapting AI Governance to Sector-Specific Challenges: Comparing Perspectives | IVADO

IDT’s researcher Dr. Anna Capellà i Ricart presented the conference “Équité et IA dans le système de justice : opportunités et défis” at the Workshop Adapting AI Governance to Sector-Specific Challenges: Comparing Perspectives, held at HEC Montréal centre-ville, from 14 to 18 september of 2026.

The event explored the specificities, convergences, and divergences of the challenges posed by AI across different sectors. Beyond broad governance approaches, it examined how AI is reshaping activities and professions that are central to individual well-being, social cohesion, collective imaginaries, and institutional functioning. Bringing together researchers from several disciplines, the seminar focused on four sectors already significantly affected by AI and particularly relevant to current research and debate.
