TRIPS TO EGYPT UAB 2026
For the coming winter of 2026, the IEPOA has organised two trips to Egypt: the annual “classic” trip and, as a NEW FEATURE, another trip with a specific theme. Both are offered in the framework of the UAB’s Egyptology training programmes (official master’s degree and PhD, postgraduate diploma, MOOCs, and specialization courses), but are open to all audiences and do not require previous knowledge. They also aim to support the IEPOA’s Egyptological research.
TRIP TO NUBIA AND UPPER EGYPT
We propose a new cultural trip to Egypt focusing exclusively on Nubia and Upper Egypt. It is designed as a complement to our “classic” Trip to Egypt. It is, therefore, an alternative itinerary, aimed mainly at our former travellers or people who have already travelled to Egypt and have had the opportunity to admire its most famous monuments.

“CLASSIC” TRIP TO EGYPT
The IEPOA is once again scheduling its “classic” Trip to Egypt. This is a comprehensive itinerary that allows travellers to discover Egypt’s most iconic museums, sites, and monuments, such as the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the pyramids and sphinx of Giza, the city of Amarna, the temples of Karnak and Luxor, and the Valley of the Kings, among many other wonders.
