The Group activity is oriented to analyse the economic aspects of Renewable Energies alternatives for power generation, and to contribute to the deployment of the market for decentralised (distributed) applications of them; mainly solar-power solutions. The overall aim of that is to contribute to the objective of increasing the share of renewable energies in the total power consumption at European level.
INCERS is an interdisciplinary Research Group of the UAB, working on: Renewable Energies Economics -with a focus on the competitiveness evaluation of innovative technologies for distributed solar-power generation-, and on Market Development of those solar solutions; with a focus on participating or promoting interdisciplinary -technical & economic- international projects aimed to contribute to that market development, regarding both demand and supply sides.
