Núria Simelio is an Associate Professor in the Department of Journalism and Communication Studies at the UAB (Autonomous University of Barcelona). She has participated in more than 25 competitive research projects related to digital and public communication, media analysis from a gender perspective, and the study of migration and cultural diversity in the media. She has carried out research on institutional communication, democratic participation, and the transformations of communication in today’s digital society.
