Information-Annabel-Gonzalez-Flores

Annabel González Flores was born in 1981 in Barcelona (Catalonia). She graduated in Estudis Àrabs i Hebreus [Arabic and Hebrew Studies] at the Universitat de Barcelona. She studied a Master in Assyriology, and another Master in “Cultures i Llengües de l’Antiguitat”, the subject of her master’s thesis was: «The root of suffering: a lexicography analysis of the book of Job and two Babylonian wisdom texts».
Her doctoral thesis consists in describing the early manuscripts of the Talmud Bavli preserved in Europe (12th-13th. C) in order to reconstruct, if possible, plausible Talmudic sources for the medieval Latin translation.
