Transnational Meeting of the European Project to Strengthen Research Competences in Future Education Professionals
From 21 to 24 October, 2025, the European project International Teaching Clinic Network, aimed at strengthening the research competences of future education professionals through close collaboration with experts and practitioners in the field, held a transnational meeting in Vienna with the participation of partners from Austria, Germany, Greece and Spain.
The meeting provided an opportunity to share the progress of the research projects currently being developed in each country and to exchange methodological approaches to address the educational challenges that students are working on. The sessions were particularly valuable for comparing the use of research diaries, experimenting with different research methods, and exploring other strategies that support research-based learning in practical educational contexts.
The gathering also helped reinforce an international perspective on research competence development and enriched the collaborative dynamics that connect universities with professional settings.
In Spain, the project is led by the MïRE Research Group at UAB, which is responsible for coordinating the national implementation. To date, the team has connected 35 students with professionals in the education sector, fostering authentic research experiences grounded in real-world challenges.
