Knowledge transfer, public awareness, and behavioural change

The group actively works to transform scientific knowledge into actions that contribute to the protection of human health and the environment. This activity includes scientific dissemination, communication of the risks associated with emerging contaminants, public engagement, and the co-creation of solutions with public administrations, companies, healthcare professionals, and social organisations.

Through open science initiatives, educational activities, participatory workshops, and science–policy interaction platforms, the group promotes a better understanding of environmental risks and encourages the adoption of preventive behaviours based on scientific evidence.
