Gara Villalba participated in the 2nd Jornada de Salut Urbana, held on April 28 at the Sala d’Actes de La Model in Barcelona.
During the event, she presented the work Onades de calor i estratègies d’adaptació a l’Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona, developed during the URBAG project (Integrated System Analysis of Urban Vegetation and Agriculture).
In her presentation, she highlighted how different heat adaptation strategies may affect the Barcelona metropolitan area, as well as their impacts on air quality. Her talk is available from minute 46:35 to 01:15:30.
