Senior Research Technician
Vanessa holds a BSc and a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the Federal University of Paraná (Brazil), as well as a master’s degree in Atmospheric Science from Pennsylvania State University (USA).
She is completing her PhD in the Carbon Cycle at GNS Science and Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand.
Her research focuses on interpreting atmospheric observations of greenhouse gases (e.g., carbon dioxide and methane) to better understand anthropogenic emission sources. She is currently managing Barcelona’s greenhouse gas monitoring network.
