Doctoral candidate

Qing holds a Master’s degree in Atmospheric Physics and Atmospheric Environment from Sun Yat-sen University, China. She has experience with atmospheric chemistry modeling. Currently, She is working as a PhD candidate at ICTA-UAB, where her research focuses on the impact of green infrastructures (such as urban forests, agriculture, and parks) on the urban carbon footprint. To achieve this, she employs atmospheric and biosphere models, including WRF-GHG and VPRM. Her research motivation is to evaluate the effectiveness of city-level mitigation and adaptation strategies involving green infrastructures, aiming to promote sustainable urban development in the face of climate change.
