Maria Rosa Garrido Sardà, (mariarosa.garridosarda@unifr.ch), és membre del grup de recerca Comunicació Intercultural i Estratègies de Negociació del Departament de Filologia Anglesa i de Germanística de la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Actualment és investigadora postdoc a l’Institut del Plurilingüisme, Université de Fribourg/ Universität Freiburg (Suïssa). El seu projecte en curs “Humanitarians on the move” (2015-16), supervisat per Prof.Dr. Alexandre Duchêne, investiga la llengua, la mobilitat i la identitat en les trajectòries de treballadors qualificats que travessen fronteres lingüístiques i nacionals per treballar en el sector humanitari. Els seus interessos de recerca inclouen la llengua, les mobilitats transnacionals i l’exclusió social; la construcció interdiscursiva de les identitats transnacionals en ONG i moviments socials; així com el multilingüisme en l’acollida lingüística de persones nouvingudes adultes en contextos no formals. La seva tesi doctoral (UAB, 2014), supervisada per la Dra. Eva Codó, és una etnografia sociolingüística crítica en múltiples contextos sobre un moviment social anomenat Emmaús. Perfil a Academia.edu
